Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure proper heat sinking when mounting to maintain the operating junction temperature within specified limits.
   • Use a thermal compound to enhance heat transfer if necessary.

2. Soldering:

   • Preheat the diode to 80°C to 120°C before soldering.
   • Soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C.
   • Soldering time should be kept under 10 seconds.

3. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid mechanical stress on the leads and body.
   • Avoid exposure to corrosive environments or excessive humidity.

4. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the cathode (K) to the positive side of the circuit and the anode (A) to the negative side.
   • Ensure that the reverse voltage does not exceed the maximum rated value to prevent breakdown.

5. Storage:

   • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
   • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to avoid damage.

6. Testing:

   • Use a multimeter to test the diode for continuity and reverse bias.
   • Ensure the forward voltage drop is within the specified range during testing.
