Instructions for Use:
Forward Voltage (VF):
- Ensure the forward voltage does not exceed 2.0V to prevent damage.
- Typical operating voltage is around 1.5V at 20mA.
Reverse Breakdown Voltage (VBR):
- The device should not be operated with reverse voltages exceeding 7V to avoid breakdown.
- A typical safe reverse voltage is 5V.
Forward Current (IF):
- Continuous forward current should not exceed 50mA to ensure reliable operation.
- For optimal performance, keep the forward current around 20mA.
Peak Forward Current (IF(s)):
- Peak forward current can be up to 100mA for short durations (10ms).
- Avoid prolonged exposure to peak currents to prevent overheating.
Reverse Current (IR):
- Reverse current should be kept below 10μA to avoid degradation of performance.
- Higher reverse currents can indicate potential issues with the device.
Operating Temperature (Top):
- The device can operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C.
- Ensure the operating environment does not exceed these limits to maintain reliability.
Storage Temperature (Tstg):
- Store the device in a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C to prevent damage.
- Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations during storage.
Handling and Installation:
- Handle the device with care to avoid mechanical stress.
- Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage.
- Ensure proper soldering techniques to avoid thermal shock.
Testing:
- Test the device under controlled conditions to verify its parameters.
- Use appropriate test equipment to measure forward and reverse characteristics accurately.
