Instructions for Using NDB6060L

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (V_IN) to the VIN pin.
    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 14V).
  2. Output Configuration:

    • Set the desired output voltage (V_OUT) by adjusting the external resistor network connected to the ADJ pin.
    • The output voltage can be set between 3.3V and 5V.
  3. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load to the VOUT pin.
    • Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum output current (600mA).
  4. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the ground (GND) pin to the common ground of the circuit.
  5. Capacitor Requirements:

    • Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between the VIN and GND pins close to the regulator.
    • Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between the VOUT and GND pins close to the regulator.
  6. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high output currents or in high ambient temperatures.
    • Consider using a heatsink if necessary.
  7. Testing:

    • After assembly, test the output voltage and current to ensure it meets the specifications.
    • Measure the ripple and noise to ensure they are within acceptable limits.
  8. Storage and Handling:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool place within the storage temperature range (-40°C to 125°C).
    • Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads and package.
