Instructions for Using NDB6060L
Input Connection:
- Connect the input voltage (V_IN) to the VIN pin.
- Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 14V).
Output Configuration:
- Set the desired output voltage (V_OUT) by adjusting the external resistor network connected to the ADJ pin.
- The output voltage can be set between 3.3V and 5V.
Output Connection:
- Connect the load to the VOUT pin.
- Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum output current (600mA).
Ground Connection:
- Connect the ground (GND) pin to the common ground of the circuit.
Capacitor Requirements:
- Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between the VIN and GND pins close to the regulator.
- Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between the VOUT and GND pins close to the regulator.
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high output currents or in high ambient temperatures.
- Consider using a heatsink if necessary.
Testing:
- After assembly, test the output voltage and current to ensure it meets the specifications.
- Measure the ripple and noise to ensure they are within acceptable limits.
Storage and Handling:
