The AY38910 is a 40-pin CMOS integrated circuit (IC) designed for use in digital audio applications. It is a 4-channel audio processor with a built-in digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The AY38910 is capable of processing audio signals up to 24-bit resolution and sampling rates up to 96 kHz. It features four independent audio channels, each with its own volume control, as well as a built-in low-pass filter. It also has a built-in microphone preamplifier and a headphone amplifier.
