Instructions for Use

1. Power Supply:

   • Connect Vcc to +5.0 V ± 0.5 V.
   • Connect Vss to ground (0 V).

2. Programming:

   • Apply Vpp (12.5 V ± 1.0 V) to the Vpp pin during programming.
   • Use a programmer that supports 27C512 EPROMs to load data into the device.

3. Reading Data:

   • Apply the desired address to the address lines (A0-A12).
   • The data will be available on the data lines (D0-D7) after the access time (70 ns typical).

4. Write Protect:

   • The device is write-protected by default once programmed. To reprogram, use a UV eraser to erase the contents.

5. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid static discharge.
   • Store in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.

6. Mounting:

   • Ensure proper alignment of the pins when inserting into a socket or soldering onto a PCB.
   • Follow standard soldering procedures to avoid overheating.

7. Testing:

   • Verify the correct operation by reading known data patterns from the device.

8. Disposal:

   • Dispose of the device according to local regulations for electronic waste.
