Instructions for Use:
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the IN pin.
- Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 36V).
Output Connection:
- Connect the load to the OUT pin.
- The output voltage is fixed at 2.5V.
Ground Connection:
- Connect the GND pin to the system ground.
Capacitor Requirements:
- Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor close to the IN pin to ensure stability.
- A 1μF ceramic capacitor should also be placed close to the OUT pin for load regulation.
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
- The device can operate up to 85°C, but performance may degrade at higher temperatures.
Short-Circuit Protection:
- The device has built-in short-circuit protection, limiting the output current to approximately 300mA.
Storage:
- Store the device in a dry environment with temperatures between -65°C and 150°C.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the pins and internal components.
