Instructions

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to Vcc (pin 8).
    • Connect the negative terminal of the power supply to GND (pin 4).
  2. Input Signal Connection:

    • Connect the audio input signal to IN+ (pin 2).
    • Connect the ground of the input signal to GND (pin 4).
  3. Speaker Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the speaker to OUT (pin 6).
    • Connect the negative terminal of the speaker to GND (pin 4).
  4. Decoupling Capacitors:

    • Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between Vcc and GND close to the IC to stabilize the power supply.
    • Optionally, place a 0.1μF ceramic capacitor between Vcc and GND for high-frequency noise suppression.
  5. Output Coupling Capacitor:

    • Use a 100μF electrolytic capacitor in series with the speaker to block any DC component from the output.
  6. Heat Dissipation:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high power levels or in high ambient temperatures. Consider using a heatsink if necessary.
  7. Protection:

    • Avoid short circuits and ensure all connections are secure to prevent damage to the IC.
  8. Testing:

    • Apply a small audio signal to the input and verify the output on the speaker. Adjust the volume as needed.
  9. Storage:

    • Store the IC in a dry, cool place to avoid moisture damage.
