Instructions for Use

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the designated input terminals.
    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (8V to 36V).
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load to the output terminals (VOUT).
    • The output voltage is fixed at 12V and can supply up to 20A.
  3. Mounting:

    • Mount the module on a heatsink or a well-ventilated area to ensure proper heat dissipation.
    • Use thermal paste between the module and the heatsink for better thermal conductivity.
  4. Protection Features:

    • Over Voltage Protection (OVP): Protects against output voltages exceeding safe levels.
    • Under Voltage Protection (UVP): Ensures the module does not operate below the minimum input voltage.
    • Short Circuit Protection (SCP): Protects against short circuits at the output.
    • Over Temperature Protection (OTP): Shuts down the module if the temperature exceeds safe limits.
  5. Operating Environment:

    • Ensure the operating temperature is within -40°C to 85°C.
    • Store the module in an environment with temperatures ranging from -40°C to 125°C.
  6. Testing:

    • Before connecting the load, verify the output voltage using a multimeter.
    • Gradually increase the load to the rated current to ensure stable operation.
  7. Maintenance:

    • Regularly inspect the module for signs of wear or damage.
    • Clean the heatsink periodically to maintain optimal cooling performance.
