Instructions for Using IL485

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the range of 4.75V to 5.25V.
    • The operating current (Icc) can vary between 10mA and 30mA depending on the load.
  2. Input Levels:

    • For a high input level (VIH), the voltage should be between 2V and 5.5V.
    • For a low input level (VIL), the voltage should be between 0V and 0.8V.
  3. Output Levels:

    • When the output is high (VOH), the voltage should be between 2.4V and 5V with a sink current (IOH) of -4mA.
    • When the output is low (VOL), the voltage should be between 0V and 0.4V with a source current (IOL) of 16mA.
  4. Timing Parameters:

    • The propagation delay (tpd) should be between 0.2μs and 0.5μs.
    • The rise time (tr) and fall time (tf) should both be between 0.1μs and 0.3μs.
  5. Temperature Range:

    • The device operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
    • The storage temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C.
  6. Handling and Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool place to avoid moisture damage.
    • Handle with care to prevent static discharge, which can damage the device.
  7. Application Notes:

    • Use appropriate decoupling capacitors near the power supply pins to ensure stable operation.
    • Ensure proper grounding and shielding to minimize noise and interference.
  8. Schematic Integration:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to the positive supply and GND to the ground.
