Instructions for Using J6910:

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the VIN pin.
    • Connect the negative terminal of the power supply to the GND pin.
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load to the VOUT pin.
    • Ensure the load is properly grounded to the GND pin.
  3. Capacitors:

    • Place a 10 μF electrolytic capacitor between VIN and GND close to the regulator to stabilize the input voltage.
    • Place a 10 μF electrolytic capacitor between VOUT and GND close to the regulator to stabilize the output voltage.
  4. Heat Dissipation:

    • If the regulator is expected to handle high currents or operate in high ambient temperatures, consider using a heatsink to improve heat dissipation.
  5. Overcurrent and Thermal Protection:

    • The J6910 has built-in overcurrent and thermal shutdown protection. In case of excessive current or temperature, the regulator will shut down to prevent damage.
  6. PCB Layout:

    • Ensure that the PCB layout minimizes trace lengths and uses wide traces for power connections to reduce resistance and voltage drops.
  7. Testing:

    • Before connecting the load, test the output voltage with a multimeter to ensure it is within the expected range.
    • Gradually increase the load current to verify stable operation and check for any overheating issues.
