Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the specified range of 2.7V to 3.6V.
    • The device does not require a separate programming voltage (Vpp).
  2. Addressing:

    • The device is organized as 512K x 8 bits, with addresses ranging from 0x00000 to 0x7FFFF.
  3. Read Operation:

    • Apply the desired address to the address lines (A0-A18).
    • Assert the chip select (CS#) and output enable (OE#) signals low.
    • The data will be available on the data lines (D0-D7) after the access time (70ns max).
  4. Write Operation:

    • Apply the desired address to the address lines (A0-A18).
    • Load the data to be written onto the data lines (D0-D7).
    • Assert the chip select (CS#), write enable (WE#), and output enable (OE#) signals low.
    • The write operation will complete within 10 μs.
  5. Erase Operation:

    • To erase a block, apply the block address to the address lines (A0-A18).
    • Assert the chip select (CS#), write enable (WE#), and output enable (OE#) signals low.
    • The block erase operation will complete within 4 ms.
  6. Standby Mode:

    • To reduce power consumption, deassert the chip select (CS#) signal high when the device is not in use.
  7. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure the operating temperature is within the specified range for the intended application (Commercial: 0°C to +70°C, Industrial: -40°C to +85°C).
  8. Endurance and Data Retention:

    • The device is rated for a minimum of 100,000 write/erase cycles and can retain data for at least 10 years under normal operating conditions.
