The AD7730BN is a low power, 24-bit, sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It is designed for use in industrial process control, data acquisition, and instrumentation applications. The AD7730BN is a single-channel ADC with a wide input range of ±10 V. It has a low power consumption of only 2.3 mW and a fast conversion rate of up to 20 kSPS. The device features a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with gains of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128, and a programmable low-pass filter (LPF) with cutoff frequencies of 16 Hz, 32 Hz, 64 Hz, 128 Hz, 256 Hz, 512 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz. It also has an on-chip temperature sensor and a digital temperature compensation feature. The AD7730BN is available in a 24-pin DIP package and is specified over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. (For reference only)
