Instructions for Use

1. Power Supply:

   • Ensure the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the specified range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
   • Connect the Vcc pin to a stable power source and the GND pin to ground.

2. Channel Configuration:

   • The LMF100CIWM has three open-collector output channels. Each channel can sink up to 100mA of current.
   • Connect the load between the output pin and a positive supply voltage (e.g., 5V).

3. Quiescent Current:

   • The quiescent current is 2.5mA at Vcc = 5V. This is the current drawn by the device when it is not driving any load.

4. Thermal Management:

   • The maximum power dissipation is 625mW. Ensure adequate heat sinking or cooling if the device is expected to operate near this limit.
   • Avoid operating the device outside the specified temperature range to prevent damage.

5. Storage and Handling:

   • Store the device in a dry environment with temperatures between -65°C and 150°C.
   • Handle the device with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage to the leads.

6. Soldering:

   • Use a soldering iron with a temperature no higher than 300°C.
   • Solder each lead for no more than 3 seconds to avoid thermal damage.

7. Testing:

   • Before connecting the device to a live circuit, verify the connections and ensure that the supply voltage is correct.
   • Test the device under controlled conditions to ensure proper operation.
