The SJA1000N is a stand-alone CAN controller chip manufactured by NXP Semiconductors. It is a 28-pin DIP (dual in-line package) chip that provides a complete interface between a CAN bus and the host processor. The SJA1000N is compliant with the CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B standards, and supports both standard and extended frames.
