Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure proper heat dissipation to avoid exceeding the maximum junction temperature (TJ).
   • Use a heatsink if necessary, especially under high current conditions.

2. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the diode correctly to avoid reverse voltage damage.
   • Ensure that the peak forward surge current (IFSM) does not exceed 240A for more than 8.3 ms.

3. Thermal Management:

   • Monitor the case temperature (Tc) to ensure it does not exceed 75°C for continuous operation.
   • If operating at higher temperatures, reduce the average rectified current (IF(AV)) accordingly.

4. Storage:

   • Store the diode in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-55°C to 150°C).

5. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
   • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.

6. Testing:

   • Test the diode parameters using appropriate test equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
   • Perform tests at room temperature unless otherwise specified.

7. Applications:

   • Suitable for high-power rectification in industrial and automotive applications.
   • Ideal for use in power supplies, motor drives, and other high-current circuits.
