Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure proper heat dissipation to avoid exceeding the maximum junction temperature (TJ).
- Use a heatsink if necessary, especially under high current conditions.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the diode correctly to avoid reverse voltage damage.
- Ensure that the peak forward surge current (IFSM) does not exceed 240A for more than 8.3 ms.
Thermal Management:
- Monitor the case temperature (Tc) to ensure it does not exceed 75°C for continuous operation.
- If operating at higher temperatures, reduce the average rectified current (IF(AV)) accordingly.
Storage:
- Store the diode in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-55°C to 150°C).
Handling:
- Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.
Testing:
- Test the diode parameters using appropriate test equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform tests at room temperature unless otherwise specified.
Applications:
- Suitable for high-power rectification in industrial and automotive applications.
- Ideal for use in power supplies, motor drives, and other high-current circuits.
