The LM565 is a general-purpose phase-locked loop (PLL) integrated circuit (IC) from National Semiconductor (NS). It is available in a dual in-line package (DIP-14). Description: The LM565 is a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with a wide range of operating frequencies. It has an adjustable frequency range of 1 Hz to 100 kHz and a wide range of input voltages from 0 to 10 V. The LM565 also features a wide range of modulation options, including pulse-width modulation (PWM), frequency modulation (FM), and amplitude modulation (AM).
