Instructions for Use:
Handling:
- Handle the C824G with care to avoid mechanical damage.
- Avoid touching the ceramic body directly; use the leads for handling.
Soldering:
- Preheat the board to 100°C to 125°C before soldering.
- Use a soldering iron with a temperature setting of 350°C to 400°C.
- Solder each lead for no more than 3 seconds to prevent thermal shock.
- Allow the capacitor to cool naturally after soldering.
Mounting:
- Ensure the leads are bent at a 90-degree angle to fit through the PCB holes.
- Insert the leads through the designated holes on the PCB.
- Trim the leads to a length of approximately 1.5 mm after soldering.
Storage:
- Store the C824G in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the components in their original packaging until ready for use.
Testing:
- Use a capacitance meter to verify the capacitance value after installation.
- Ensure the voltage rating is not exceeded during testing and operation.
