Instructions for Use:

  1. Handling:

    • Handle the C824G with care to avoid mechanical damage.
    • Avoid touching the ceramic body directly; use the leads for handling.
  2. Soldering:

    • Preheat the board to 100°C to 125°C before soldering.
    • Use a soldering iron with a temperature setting of 350°C to 400°C.
    • Solder each lead for no more than 3 seconds to prevent thermal shock.
    • Allow the capacitor to cool naturally after soldering.
  3. Mounting:

    • Ensure the leads are bent at a 90-degree angle to fit through the PCB holes.
    • Insert the leads through the designated holes on the PCB.
    • Trim the leads to a length of approximately 1.5 mm after soldering.
  4. Storage:

    • Store the C824G in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
    • Keep the components in their original packaging until ready for use.
  5. Testing:

    • Use a capacitance meter to verify the capacitance value after installation.
    • Ensure the voltage rating is not exceeded during testing and operation.
  6. Disposal:

    • Follow local regulations for the disposal of electronic components.
    • Recycle or dispose of the C824G in an environmentally responsible manner.
