Instructions for Using SSM2165-2
Supply Voltage:
- Ensure the supply voltage (VCC) is within the specified range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
- Connect the VCC pin to the positive supply and GND pin to the ground.
Input Connection:
- Connect the differential inputs (IN+ and IN-) to your signal source.
- Ensure the input impedance of 10kΩ is considered when designing the input circuit.
Output Connection:
- Connect the output (OUT) to the load or next stage in the signal chain.
- The output impedance of 100Ω should be considered for proper load matching.
Gain Setting:
- The gain can be adjusted using external resistors. Refer to the datasheet for specific resistor values and configurations.
Powering Up:
- Apply power to the device after all connections are made.
- Monitor the supply current to ensure it is within the typical value of 1.5mA per channel.
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high temperatures.
- Keep the operating temperature within the range of -40°C to 85°C.
Signal Integrity:
- To minimize distortion and noise, use shielded cables and keep signal paths as short as possible.
- Ensure the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and total harmonic distortion (THD) meet the application requirements.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the device in a dry environment within the storage temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
- Handle with care to avoid damage to the pins and internal components.
Testing:
- Before finalizing the design, test the device under various conditions to ensure it meets performance specifications.
- Use a signal generator and oscilloscope to verify the output signal quality and stability.
