Instructions for Use:

1. Supply Voltage (Vcc):

   • Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V.
   • The typical operating voltage is 5.0 V.

2. Output Current (Iout):

   • The device can provide up to 150 mA of continuous output current.
   • Do not exceed the maximum output current to avoid damage.

3. Dropout Voltage (Vdo):

   • The dropout voltage is typically 0.3 V at an output current of 150 mA and a supply voltage of 5.0 V.
   • Ensure that the input voltage is at least 0.3 V higher than the desired output voltage.

4. Quiescent Current (Iq):

   • The quiescent current is typically 2.5 μA when there is no load and the supply voltage is 5.0 V.
   • This low quiescent current makes the device suitable for battery-powered applications.

5. Thermal Shutdown (TSD):

   • The device will automatically shut down if the temperature exceeds 160°C to prevent thermal damage.
   • Ensure proper heat dissipation to avoid reaching this temperature.

6. Operating Temperature (Topr):

   • The device operates reliably between -40°C and 85°C.
   • Avoid operating the device outside this temperature range to ensure stable performance.

7. Storage Temperature (Tstg):

   • Store the device between -65°C and 150°C to prevent damage during storage.

Additional Notes:

• Capacitors:
  • Use appropriate bypass capacitors (typically 10 μF) on the input and output to stabilize the supply and output voltages.
• PCB Layout:
  • Ensure good thermal management by using a large copper area or heat sink if necessary.
• Polarity:
  • Ensure correct polarity when connecting the device to avoid damage.
