Instructions for Z84C3006PEC

1. Pin Configuration

  • Vcc: Power supply
  • GND: Ground
  • A0-A14: Address lines
  • D0-D7: Data lines
  • WE: Write Enable (active low)
  • CE: Chip Enable (active low)
  • OE: Output Enable (active low)

2. Operating Modes

  • Read Operation:

    • Set CE and OE to low.
    • Apply the desired address to A0-A14.
    • The data at the specified address will appear on D0-D7.
  • Write Operation:

    • Set CE and WE to low.
    • Apply the desired address to A0-A14.
    • Apply the data to be written to D0-D7.
    • Set OE high to disable read operation.
    • Hold WE low for at least the write cycle time (tWC).
    • Set WE high to complete the write cycle.

3. Power Supply

  • Ensure the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the specified range (2.5V to 5.5V).

4. Data Retention

  • Data retention is guaranteed for up to 10 years under normal operating conditions.

5. Temperature Considerations

  • Operate the device within the specified temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
  • Store the device within the storage temperature range (-65°C to 150°C).

6. Endurance

  • The device can withstand up to 100,000 write/read cycles.

7. Handling Precautions

  • Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
  • Use proper grounding techniques when handling the device.

8. Programming

  • Use appropriate programming software or hardware to write data to the EEPROM.
  • Ensure that the write cycle time is respected to avoid data corruption.

9. Testing

  • Verify the data written to the EEPROM by reading it back and comparing it with the original data.

This table and set of instructions should provide you with the necessary information to use the Z84C3006PEC effectively.
