Instructions

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
    • Connect VCC to the positive power supply and GND to the ground.
  2. Signal Connections:

    • Connect the address lines (A0-A13) to the microcontroller or other control logic.
    • Connect the data lines (D0-D7) to the microcontroller or other data bus.
    • Connect the chip select (CS), output enable (OE), and write enable (WE) pins to the appropriate control signals from the microcontroller.
  3. Operation Modes:

    • Read Operation:
      • Set CS low to select the device.
      • Set OE low to enable data output.
      • Apply the desired address to the address lines.
      • The data at the addressed location will appear on the data lines after the access time.
    • Write Operation:
      • Set CS low to select the device.
      • Set WE low to enable writing.
      • Apply the desired address to the address lines.
      • Apply the data to be written to the data lines.
      • The data will be written to the addressed location after the access time.
  4. Standby Mode:

    • To enter standby mode, set CS high.
    • In standby mode, the device consumes minimal current (1 μA max).
  5. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure the operating temperature remains within the specified range of -40°C to 85°C to avoid damage or malfunction.
  6. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the internal circuits.
    • Use proper anti-static measures when handling and storing the device.
