Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a stable 5V supply.
    • Ensure the ground (GND) is properly connected.
  2. Digital Inputs:

    • Apply logic levels to the digital input pins (D0-D11).
    • Logic 1 should be between 2.0V and 5.5V.
    • Logic 0 should be between 0V and 0.8V.
  3. Analog Output:

    • The analog output (Vout) will range from 0V to 5V based on the digital input.
    • Ensure the load impedance is greater than 2Ω for optimal performance.
  4. Settling Time:

    • The DAC output will settle to within 0.01% of the final value within 10μs after a change in the digital input.
  5. Temperature Considerations:

    • Operate the device within the specified temperature range:
      • Commercial: 0°C to 70°C
      • Industrial: -40°C to 85°C
  6. Power Consumption:

    • The power consumption is typically 25mW when all outputs are at mid-scale.
  7. Nonlinearity:

    • The device has a differential nonlinearity (DNL) and integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1LSB, ensuring accurate conversion.
  8. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
    • Follow proper soldering techniques to ensure reliable connections.
