Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure that the device is powered within the specified range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
    • Connect Vcc to pin 28 and GND to pin 1.
  2. Programming:

    • Apply the programming voltage (Vpp) of 12.5V to 13.5V to pin 25.
    • Use a suitable programmer to write data into the memory.
    • The typical write cycle time is 20 ms.
  3. Erase:

    • Expose the device to ultraviolet light for approximately 20 minutes to erase the contents.
    • Ensure the device is not exposed to excessive UV light beyond the recommended time to avoid damage.
  4. Reading Data:

    • Apply the appropriate address to the address lines (A0-A15).
    • The data will be available on the data lines (D0-D7) after the access time (tAC).
  5. Standby Mode:

    • To minimize power consumption, ensure that the device is in standby mode when not in use.
    • The typical standby current is 10 μA.
  6. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge.
    • Store the device in a dry, cool environment within the temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
  7. Mounting:

    • Ensure that pin 1 is correctly aligned during mounting.
    • Use a suitable socket or soldering technique to mount the device on the PCB.
  8. Environmental Considerations:

    • Follow all environmental guidelines and regulations for handling and disposing of the device.
