Instructions for Use:
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the supply voltage (Vcc) to the appropriate pin.
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
Ground Connection:
- Connect the ground (GND) pin to the system ground.
Output Connection:
- Connect the load to the output (OUT) pin.
- The maximum output current should not exceed 200mA.
Enable Control:
- To enable the device, apply a voltage greater than 1.2V to the enable (EN) pin.
- To disable the device, apply a voltage less than 0.8V to the enable (EN) pin.
Capacitor Selection:
- Use a ceramic capacitor with a value of 1μF to 10μF at the input (IN) and output (OUT) pins for stability.
- Place the capacitors as close as possible to the respective pins.
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high output currents or in high ambient temperatures.
- Refer to the thermal resistance data in the datasheet for detailed thermal management.
Layout Recommendations:
- Keep the traces short and wide to minimize parasitic inductance and resistance.
- Use a ground plane to reduce noise and improve thermal performance.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the device in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge and physical damage.
