Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the Vcc pin to a stable power supply within the range of 2.7 V to 3.6 V.
- Ensure the ground (GND) pin is connected to the system ground.
Addressing:
- Use the address lines (A0-A22) to specify the memory location you want to read from or write to.
Data I/O:
- The data lines (D0-D7) are used for data input and output. Ensure they are connected to the data bus of your system.
Control Signals:
- Chip Select (CS#): Active low signal to enable the device.
- Output Enable (OE#): Active low signal to enable data output.
- Write Enable (WE#): Active low signal to initiate a write operation.
- Write Protect (WP#): Active low signal to prevent accidental writes.
Programming:
- To program a page, set the CS# and WE# signals low, and provide the appropriate address and data on the address and data lines.
- Wait for the specified write time (250 μs typical) before initiating another operation.
Erasing:
- To erase a block, set the CS# and WE# signals low, and provide the appropriate erase command and block address.
- Wait for the specified erase time (1.5 ms typical) before initiating another operation.
Reading:
- To read data, set the CS# and OE# signals low, and provide the appropriate address on the address lines.
- The data will be available on the data lines after the access time (70 ns typical).
Endurance and Data Retention:
- The device is rated for a minimum of 100,000 write/erase cycles and can retain data for at least 10 years under specified conditions.
Temperature Considerations:
- Ensure the operating temperature is within the range of -40°C to +85°C to maintain reliable performance.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid damage. Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.
