Instructions for Use
Power Supply:
- Connect the Vcc pin (pin 14) to the positive supply voltage.
- Connect the GND pin (pin 7) to the ground.
Input Connections:
- Connect the input pins (pins 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) to your logic signals.
- Ensure that the input voltages do not exceed the supply voltage (Vcc).
Output Connections:
- Connect the output pins (pins 8, 13) to the load or next stage of your circuit.
- The output can drive up to 10 standard CMOS loads.
Decoupling Capacitors:
- Place a 0.1μF ceramic capacitor between Vcc and GND as close to the IC as possible to filter out noise and stabilize the supply voltage.
Handling:
- Handle the IC with care to avoid static damage. Use an anti-static wrist strap if available.
- Avoid applying excessive force when inserting the IC into a socket or PCB.
Storage:
- Store the IC in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
Testing:
- Before using the IC in a critical application, test it with a simple circuit to ensure it is functioning correctly.
Datasheet:
- Refer to the datasheet for more detailed information and specific applications.
