Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (VIN) to Pin 1.
    • Connect the ground (GND) to Pin 2.
    • Connect the load to Pin 3 (VOUT).
  2. Capacitors:

    • Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between VIN and GND close to the regulator to filter input noise.
    • Place a 10μF electrolytic capacitor between VOUT and GND close to the regulator to stabilize the output.
  3. Heat Dissipation:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if the regulator is operating near its maximum output current. A heatsink may be required for continuous operation at high currents.
  4. Input Voltage:

    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 36V) to avoid damage to the regulator.
  5. Output Voltage:

    • The output voltage is fixed at 5V. Do not attempt to adjust this voltage as it is internally set.
  6. Operating Temperature:

    • Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C to ensure reliable performance.
  7. Storage Temperature:

    • Store the device in a temperature range of -65°C to +150°C to prevent damage during storage.
  8. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid physical damage. Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.
