Instructions for Use:
- Voltage Rating: Ensure that the applied voltage does not exceed the maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 470V to prevent breakdown.
- Current Handling: The diode is rated for a maximum average forward rectified current (IFAV) of 1.5A. Do not exceed this value to avoid overheating.
- Surge Current: The diode can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents (IFSM) up to 20A for short durations (8.3 ms sine wave). Avoid prolonged exposure to high surge currents.
- Temperature Considerations: Operate the diode within the junction temperature range (-65 to +150°C) and storage temperature range (-65 to +150°C). For continuous operation, keep the temperature within the operating range (-65 to +125°C).
- Reverse Leakage Current: At the maximum DC working voltage (VRWM), the reverse leakage current (IR) should not exceed 5μA.
- Reverse Recovery Time: The reverse recovery time (trr) is 150ns. This is important for high-frequency applications to ensure proper switching performance.
- Mounting and Handling: Handle the diode with care to avoid mechanical stress. Ensure proper heat sinking if operating near the maximum current or temperature limits.
- Storage: Store the diode in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive environments.
