Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to a stable 5V power supply.
    • Ensure the ground (GND) pin is connected to the system ground.
  2. Input Signals:

    • Apply digital input signals to the input pins within the valid input voltage range (0V to VCC).
    • Ensure signal transitions are clean and within the specified propagation delay.
  3. Output Handling:

    • The output pins can source up to 30mA and sink up to 50mA.
    • Use appropriate external components (e.g., resistors, capacitors) to ensure stable operation and protection.
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • Operate the device within the specified operating temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
    • Store the device within the storage temperature range (-65°C to 150°C).
  5. Power Consumption:

    • Monitor the quiescent current to ensure it remains within the typical value of 10μA at VCC = 5V.
  6. Layout and Grounding:

    • Use a good PCB layout with proper grounding to minimize noise and interference.
    • Place decoupling capacitors close to the VCC and GND pins to filter out high-frequency noise.
  7. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge which can damage the internal circuits.
    • Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and assembly.
