Instructions for Use:

1. Input Connection:

   • Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the positive terminal of the CXA1019.
   • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 28V).

2. Output Connection:

   • Connect the output voltage (VOUT) to the load.
   • Adjust the output voltage using the external resistor network if necessary.

3. Ground Connection:

   • Connect the ground (GND) pin to the common ground of the system.

4. Capacitors:

   • Place a 10μF ceramic capacitor between VIN and GND close to the CXA1019 to stabilize the input.
   • Place a 10μF ceramic capacitor between VOUT and GND to stabilize the output.

5. Thermal Considerations:

   • Ensure adequate heat dissipation, especially when operating at high output currents.
   • Use a heatsink if necessary to keep the junction temperature within the operating range.

6. Protection:

   • The CXA1019 includes overcurrent and thermal protection.
   • Do not exceed the maximum output current or operating temperature to avoid damage.

7. Adjusting Output Voltage:

   • Use the formula ( V_ = 1.23 left(1 + fracright) ) to set the desired output voltage.
   • Choose appropriate values for R1 and R2 to achieve the desired VOUT.

8. Testing:

   • Before connecting the load, verify the output voltage with a multimeter.
   • Gradually increase the load to ensure stable operation.

9. Storage:

   • Store the CXA1019 in a dry, cool place within the storage temperature range (-65°C to 150°C).

10. Handling:

    • Handle the CXA1019 with care to avoid static discharge.
    • Follow standard ESD precautions during assembly and testing.
