Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure that the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the specified range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V.
    • Connect the Vcc pin to the power supply and GND pins to ground.
  2. Input Signals:

    • Apply input signals (Vih/Vil) within the specified voltage ranges to the input pins.
    • Ensure that input signals do not exceed Vcc or go below GND to avoid damage.
  3. Output Signals:

    • The output signals (Voh/Vol) will be driven according to the programmed logic.
    • Ensure that the load connected to the output pins does not exceed the maximum current rating.
  4. Programming:

    • Use a compatible programmer to program the GAL18V10-20LP.
    • Apply the programming voltage (VP) of 12.5 V ± 0.5 V to the VP pin during programming.
    • Follow the specific programming algorithm provided by the manufacturer.
  5. Erasing:

    • To erase the device, expose it to UV light for approximately 20 minutes.
    • Ensure that the device is properly shielded from UV light when not being erased to prevent accidental erasure.
  6. Temperature Considerations:

    • Operate the device within the ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
    • Store the device within the storage temperature range of -65°C to +150°C.
  7. Power Consumption:

    • Monitor the power consumption, which should not exceed 150 mW at the maximum operating frequency.
    • In standby mode, the current consumption should be less than 10 μA at 5 V.
  8. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the sensitive components.
    • Use appropriate ESD protection measures during handling and installation.
