Instructions for Use:
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the input voltage to the VIN pin.
- Connect the output voltage to the VOUT pin.
- Ensure that the input voltage is within the specified range.
Capacitor Selection:
- Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor between VIN and GND as close as possible to the regulator.
- Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor between VOUT and GND to stabilize the output.
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high current or high ambient temperatures.
- Use a heatsink if necessary.
Shutdown Function:
- To enable the shutdown function, connect the SHDN pin to GND to turn off the regulator.
- To activate the regulator, leave the SHDN pin open or connect it to VIN.
Layout Recommendations:
- Keep the PCB layout compact to minimize parasitic inductance and capacitance.
- Use wide traces for power connections to reduce resistance and voltage drop.
Storage and Handling:
- Store in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
- Handle with care to avoid static discharge which can damage the device.
