Instructions for Use:

  1. Handling:

    • Handle the RN2001 with care to avoid damage to the component or solder pads.
    • Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection when handling to prevent static damage.
  2. Mounting:

    • Place the RN2001 on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) ensuring that the correct orientation is maintained.
    • Apply a small amount of solder paste to the solder pads.
    • Use a reflow soldering process to attach the component to the PCB. Ensure the temperature profile is within the recommended range to avoid thermal shock.
  3. Soldering:

    • Preheat the PCB to 120°C to 150°C.
    • Apply heat to the solder joints using a soldering iron or reflow oven.
    • The peak soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C.
    • The duration at peak temperature should be limited to 10 seconds.
  4. Inspection:

    • Visually inspect the solder joints to ensure they are smooth, shiny, and free from voids or cold solder joints.
    • Verify that the RN2001 is securely attached to the PCB and that there are no short circuits.
  5. Testing:

    • Test the resistance value of the RN2001 using a multimeter to ensure it meets the specified tolerance.
    • Check the continuity between the resistors and the PCB traces to ensure proper electrical connection.
  6. Storage:

    • Store the RN2001 in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
    • Use anti-static bags or containers for long-term storage to protect against ESD.
  7. Disposal:

    • Dispose of the RN2001 according to local regulations and environmental guidelines.
    • Ensure that any hazardous materials are handled and disposed of safely.
