Instructions:
-
Mounting:
- Ensure the diode bridge is mounted on a heat sink if operating at high currents to maintain junction temperature within the specified range.
- Use a thermal compound between the diode and the heat sink to improve thermal conductivity.
-
Soldering:
- Preheat the PCB to 100°C to 150°C before soldering.
- Soldering temperature should not exceed 300°C.
- Soldering time should not exceed 10 seconds per lead.
-
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the AC input to the two center terminals (pins 2 and 3).
- Connect the positive output to the anode terminal (pin 1).
- Connect the negative output to the cathode terminal (pin 4).
-
Handling:
- Handle with care to avoid mechanical stress on the leads and body.
- Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
-
Testing:
- Test the diode bridge using a multimeter set to the diode test mode to ensure proper functionality.
- Check for continuity between the appropriate pins as per the pin configuration.
-
Safety:
- Ensure the diode bridge is properly insulated to prevent electrical shock.
- Use appropriate fuses or circuit breakers to protect against overcurrent conditions.
