It is designed for use in high-speed, low-power, point-to-point data transmission applications. The SI9979CS is a quad-channel LVDS transceiver that is designed to operate from a single 3.3V power supply. It is capable of transmitting and receiving data at speeds up to 400 Mbps. The device features a differential input and output impedance of 100 ohms, and a common-mode voltage range of -2.5V to 2.5V. The device also features low power consumption, low EMI, and low jitter.
