Instructions:

1. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads or body.
   • Avoid exposing the diode to excessive mechanical stress.

2. Mounting:

   • Ensure proper heat sinking for continuous operation at high currents.
   • Use a thermal compound between the diode and heat sink for better thermal performance.

3. Soldering:

   • Solder within the recommended temperature range of 260°C for no more than 10 seconds.
   • Allow the diode to cool naturally after soldering.

4. Storage:

   • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
   • Keep the diode in its original packaging until ready for use.

5. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the cathode (K) to the positive side of the circuit and the anode (A) to the negative side.
   • Ensure correct polarity to avoid reverse breakdown.

6. Operating Conditions:

   • Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table.
   • Monitor the junction temperature to ensure it remains within the safe operating range.
