Instructions:
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the input voltage (Vcc) to the IN pin.
- Connect the output voltage (Vout) to the OUT pin.
- Ensure the ground (GND) is connected to both the input and output circuits.
Capacitors:
- Place a 10 μF tantalum or ceramic capacitor between the IN pin and GND to stabilize the input voltage.
- Place a 10 μF tantalum or ceramic capacitor between the OUT pin and GND to stabilize the output voltage.
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating near the maximum output current.
- Use a heatsink if necessary, especially in high ambient temperatures.
Short-Circuit Protection:
- The device has built-in short-circuit protection, but avoid prolonged short circuits to prevent damage.
Thermal Shutdown:
- The device will shut down if the junction temperature exceeds 160°C. Allow the device to cool before resuming operation.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the device in a dry, cool place within the specified storage temperature range.
- Handle with care to avoid static discharge and physical damage.
