Instructions for Use:

  1. Supply Voltage (Vcc):

    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V to avoid damage or improper operation.
  2. Operating Temperature (Topr):

    • The device is designed to operate within the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Operation outside this range may lead to reduced performance or failure.
  3. Storage Temperature (Tstg):

    • Store the device in an environment with temperatures between -65°C and 150°C to prevent physical damage.
  4. Output Current (Iout):

    • The maximum continuous output current is 100mA. For optimal performance, keep the load current below 50mA.
  5. Quiescent Current (Iq):

    • The quiescent current is typically 0.1μA, which is very low, making the device suitable for battery-powered applications.
  6. Shutdown Current (Isd):

    • When the device is in shutdown mode, the current consumption is typically 0.01μA, further reducing power consumption.
  7. Output Voltage Range (Vout):

    • The output voltage can be set from 0V to Vcc - 0.3V. Ensure the load does not pull the output below 0V or above Vcc - 0.3V.
  8. Output Ripple Voltage (Vrip):

    • The typical output ripple voltage is 20mV peak-to-peak. Use appropriate filtering if lower ripple is required.
  9. Load Regulation (ΔVout/ΔIout):

    • The load regulation is typically 0.1%, indicating that the output voltage remains stable even when the load current changes.
  10. Line Regulation (ΔVout/ΔVin):

    • The line regulation is typically 0.01%, ensuring that the output voltage remains stable even when the input voltage varies.
  11. Enable Input (Vih, Vil):

    • The enable input should be driven high (1.4V to Vcc) to activate the device and low (0V to 0.8V) to place it in shutdown mode.
  12. Enable Input Leakage (Ileak):

    • The enable input leakage current is typically 1μA. Ensure that the driving circuit can handle this current without affecting the enable signal.
  13. Thermal Resistance (θJA):

    • The thermal resistance from junction to ambient (θJA) is typically 120°C/W. Ensure adequate heat dissipation to prevent overheating, especially under high load conditions.
