Instructions

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the NTP-3200 to a power source within the range of 3.3V to 5V DC.
    • Ensure the power supply is stable to avoid any interruptions in time synchronization.
  2. Communication Interface:

    • UART:
      • Connect the TX and RX pins to the corresponding pins on your microcontroller.
      • Set the baud rate to a supported value (e.g., 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 bps).
    • I2C:
      • Connect the SDA and SCL pins to the I2C bus of your microcontroller.
      • Set the I2C address as specified in the datasheet.
    • SPI:
      • Connect the MOSI, MISO, SCK, and CS pins to the SPI bus of your microcontroller.
      • Set the SPI mode and clock speed as specified in the datasheet.
  3. Configuration:

    • Use the provided configuration commands to set up the NTP server settings, such as the NTP server address, time zone, and update interval.
    • Example command for setting the NTP server address:
      AT+NTPSERVER="pool.ntp.org"

  4. Time Synchronization:

    • The NTP-3200 will automatically synchronize with the configured NTP server at regular intervals.
    • You can manually trigger a synchronization using the following command:
      AT+SYNC

  5. Reading Time:

    • To read the current time from the NTP-3200, use the following command:
      AT+TIME?

    • The module will respond with the current time in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.
  6. Troubleshooting:

    • If the module fails to synchronize, check the network connection and ensure the NTP server is accessible.
    • Verify that the communication interface settings (baud rate, I2C address, SPI mode) are correct.
    • Check the power supply and ensure it is within the specified range.
  7. Storage:

    • Store the NTP-3200 in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
    • Avoid exposure to high humidity and corrosive environments.
