Instructions for Using SSM2164 (SMD):
Power Supply:
- Connect the VCC pin to a stable 4.5V to 5.5V power supply.
- Ensure the GND pin is connected to the system ground.
Input Connections:
- Connect the differential input signals to the IN+ and IN- pins.
- The input impedance is 10 kΩ, so ensure the source impedance is compatible.
Output Connections:
- Connect the output signal to the desired load.
- The output can swing from 0V to VCC - 1.2V.
- Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum output current of 30 mA.
Biasing:
- The device may require biasing for optimal performance. Refer to the datasheet for specific biasing circuits.
Thermal Management:
- The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. Ensure proper heat dissipation if operating near the upper limit.
- Store the device within the storage temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
Signal Integrity:
- To maintain signal integrity, use short and well-shielded cables for input and output connections.
- Use bypass capacitors (e.g., 0.1 μF) close to the VCC and GND pins to filter out noise.
Testing:
- Before finalizing the design, test the device under various conditions to ensure it meets the required performance specifications.
- Measure the SNR and THD to verify the audio quality.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the sensitive components.
- Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and installation.
Compliance:
- Ensure that the design complies with relevant safety and regulatory standards for your application.
