Instructions for Use:

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the positive terminal of the power supply.
    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (2.7V to 5.5V).
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the output voltage (VOUT) to the load or circuit requiring a regulated 3.3V supply.
    • The output can provide up to 400mA of continuous current.
  3. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the ground (GND) pin to the common ground of the system.
  4. Capacitors:

    • Place a 1uF ceramic capacitor between VIN and GND as close to the device as possible to filter input noise.
    • Place a 1uF ceramic capacitor between VOUT and GND to stabilize the output.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high output currents or in high ambient temperatures.
    • The device is designed to operate within the specified temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
  6. PCB Layout:

    • Use a ground plane to improve thermal performance and reduce noise.
    • Keep traces short and wide to minimize inductance and resistance.
  7. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-65°C to 150°C).
  8. Handling:

    • Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads and package.
    • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage to the device.
