Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Ensure the input voltage (VIN) is within the range of 4.5V to 20V.
- Use appropriate decoupling capacitors near the power supply pins to minimize noise.
Output Current:
- The FOD2712A can handle continuous output currents up to 3.5A. For reliable operation, avoid exceeding this limit.
- Use heatsinking if operating at high current levels to maintain junction temperature below 150°C.
Propagation Delay:
- The propagation delay (tpd) is between 1.2μs and 1.8μs under typical conditions. This should be considered in timing-sensitive applications.
Turn-On and Turn-Off Times:
- The turn-on (ton) and turn-off (toff) times are both between 0.4μs and 1.0μs. These values can affect the switching performance in high-frequency applications.
Isolation:
- The device provides 2500Vrms isolation for 1 minute. Ensure that the isolation barrier is not compromised by mechanical stress or environmental factors.
