Instructions for Use

  1. Mounting:

    • Place the HSM88ASTR on the PCB with the correct orientation.
    • Ensure that the leads are aligned with the corresponding pads on the PCB.
    • Solder the leads to the PCB using a reflow soldering process or a soldering iron.
  2. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to the power supply (2.7 V to 5.5 V).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground.
  3. Signal Output:

    • The analog output (VOUT) is proportional to the temperature.
    • Connect the VOUT pin to the input of your analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or other signal processing circuit.
  4. Calibration:

    • For precise temperature measurements, calibrate the sensor using known temperature points.
    • Use the provided accuracy specifications to adjust your readings if necessary.
  5. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the leads and the body.
    • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures outside its operating range.
  6. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool place within the specified storage temperature range.
  7. Testing:

    • After mounting, test the device by measuring the output voltage and comparing it to the expected values based on the ambient temperature.
