Instructions for Use
Mounting:
- Place the HSM88ASTR on the PCB with the correct orientation.
- Ensure that the leads are aligned with the corresponding pads on the PCB.
- Solder the leads to the PCB using a reflow soldering process or a soldering iron.
Power Supply:
- Connect the VCC pin to the power supply (2.7 V to 5.5 V).
- Connect the GND pin to the ground.
Signal Output:
- The analog output (VOUT) is proportional to the temperature.
- Connect the VOUT pin to the input of your analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or other signal processing circuit.
Calibration:
- For precise temperature measurements, calibrate the sensor using known temperature points.
- Use the provided accuracy specifications to adjust your readings if necessary.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the leads and the body.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures outside its operating range.
Storage:
- Store the device in a dry, cool place within the specified storage temperature range.
Testing:
- After mounting, test the device by measuring the output voltage and comparing it to the expected values based on the ambient temperature.
