Instructions for Use

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the input power supply to the VIN pin.
    • Connect the negative terminal of the input power supply to the GND pin.
  2. Output Configuration:

    • The output voltage can be adjusted using an external resistor divider network connected to the ADJ pin.
    • The formula to calculate the output voltage is: ( V_ = 1.25 times left(1 + fracright) )
    • Where ( R_1 ) is the resistor between ADJ and GND, and ( R_2 ) is the resistor between VOUT and ADJ.
  3. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load to the VOUT and GND pins.
  4. Thermal Considerations:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
    • For TO-220 packages, use a heatsink if necessary.
  5. Protection Features:

    • The device has built-in short-circuit and thermal protection.
    • In case of a fault, the converter will automatically shut down to prevent damage.
  6. Mounting:

    • For TO-220 packages, ensure proper mechanical mounting to avoid stress on the leads.
