Instructions
Power On/Off:
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the multimeter on or off.
Selecting Measurement Function:
- Use the function selector switch to choose the desired measurement type (e.g., Voltage, Current, Resistance).
Range Selection:
- For auto-ranging, set the range selector to "AUTO."
- For manual ranging, select the appropriate range for your measurement.
Connecting Probes:
- Insert the red probe into the appropriate socket (e.g., VΩmA for voltage and resistance, 10A for high current).
- Insert the black probe into the COM socket.
Taking Measurements:
- Connect the probes to the circuit or component you want to measure.
- Read the value displayed on the LCD screen.
Special Functions:
- Diode Test: Set the function selector to "DIODE" and connect the probes to the diode leads.
- Continuity Test: Set the function selector to "CONT" and connect the probes to the points you want to test for continuity.
- Temperature Measurement: Connect a K-type thermocouple to the temperature input and place the probe in the area to be measured.
Battery Replacement:
- Turn off the multimeter.
- Remove the battery cover at the back.
- Replace the 9V battery.
- Reattach the battery cover.
Care and Maintenance:
- Keep the multimeter clean and dry.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the multimeter to physical shock.
Safety Precautions:
- Always disconnect the power source before making measurements.
- Use the appropriate probes and leads for the measurement.
- Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the parameter table.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
