Instructions for Use
Supply Voltage:
- Ensure the supply voltage (VDD) is within the range of 2.5V to 3.6V.
- Connect the VDD pin to a stable power source.
Ground Connection:
- Connect the GND pin to the system ground to ensure proper operation.
Input Signal:
- Apply the input signal to the IN+ and IN- pins.
- The input sensitivity is 0.2V for 1Vrms output. Adjust the input level accordingly to avoid clipping or under-driving the amplifier.
Output Load:
- Connect the speaker or load to the OUT+ and OUT- pins.
- The device is designed to drive a 16Ω load, but it can also handle other impedance loads within its power capability.
Shutdown Mode:
- To enter shutdown mode, set the SHDN pin to a low logic level.
- In shutdown mode, the supply current drops to 0.1μA.
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high power levels or in high ambient temperatures.
- The device is rated for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
Storage:
- Store the device in a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C to prevent damage.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection:
- Handle the device with ESD precautions to avoid damage.
- Use grounded wrist straps and static-safe surfaces when handling the device.
PCB Layout:
- Follow recommended PCB layout guidelines to minimize noise and ensure optimal performance.
- Place decoupling capacitors close to the VDD and GND pins to filter out high-frequency noise.
Testing:
- Test the device with a known good signal source and load to verify proper operation.
- Measure the output power, efficiency, and THD+N to ensure they meet the specified parameters.
