Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the range of 2.7V to 3.6V.
    • The device should be powered down properly to avoid data corruption.
  2. Current Consumption:

    • Monitor the standby current (Icc) which should not exceed 1.0 μA at 3.0V.
    • During active operations (read/write), the current consumption can reach up to 6.0 mA.
  3. Temperature Ranges:

    • For commercial applications, operate the device between -40°C and 85°C.
    • For industrial applications, the operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C.
    • Store the device between -65°C and 150°C.
  4. Timing Parameters:

    • Respect the write cycle time (tWC) of 5 ms to ensure reliable data programming.
    • Page program time (tPP) is 2.5 ms.
    • Sector erase time (tSE) is 200 ms.
    • Block erase time (tBE) is 300 ms.
    • Chip erase time (tCE) is 3000 ms.
  5. Signal Levels:

    • Ensure that the data output high level (VOH) is at least 2.4V when Vcc is 3.0V.
    • The data output low level (VOL) should not exceed 0.4V.
    • Input signals should have a high voltage (VIH) of at least 2.0V and a low voltage (VIL) not exceeding 0.8V.
  6. Programming and Erasing:

    • Follow the specific command sequences for programming and erasing as detailed in the device datasheet.
    • Verify the status register after each operation to ensure successful completion.
  7. Data Retention:

    • The device is designed to retain data for at least 10 years under normal operating conditions.
  8. Handling and Storage:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the component.
    • Store the device in a dry, cool environment to prevent moisture-related issues.
