Instructions for Use

  1. Handling and Storage:

    • Store the switch in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
    • Handle the switch with care to avoid damaging the actuator or terminals.
  2. Mounting:

    • Place the switch on the PCB according to the footprint provided in the datasheet.
    • Ensure that the switch is aligned correctly before soldering.
    • Use a temperature-controlled soldering iron and follow standard reflow soldering profiles.
  3. Soldering:

    • Preheat the PCB to reduce thermal shock.
    • Apply a small amount of solder to each terminal.
    • Avoid excessive heat and soldering time to prevent damage to the switch.
  4. Testing:

    • After soldering, visually inspect the connections for proper wetting and absence of bridges.
    • Test the switch using a multimeter to ensure it operates correctly (open and closed states).
  5. Operation:

    • Apply the operating force (1.5N ± 0.5N) to the actuator to close the contacts.
    • The switch will return to its normally open state when the force is removed.
  6. Maintenance:

    • Clean the switch with a soft, dry cloth if necessary.
    • Do not use abrasive materials or solvents that may damage the switch.
  7. Disposal:

    • Dispose of the switch in accordance with local regulations and environmental guidelines.
