Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the positive supply voltage (Vcc) to pin 14.
    • Connect the ground (GND) to pin 7.
  2. Input Connections:

    • Each AND gate has four input pins.
    • For the first AND gate, connect inputs to pins 1, 2, 3, and 4.
    • For the second AND gate, connect inputs to pins 9, 10, 11, and 12.
  3. Output Connections:

    • The output of the first AND gate is available at pin 5.
    • The output of the second AND gate is available at pin 13.
  4. Logical Operation:

    • The output will be high (Vcc) only if all inputs to the AND gate are high.
    • If any input is low (0V), the output will be low (0V).
  5. Handling Precautions:

    • Ensure that the supply voltage does not exceed the maximum rating.
    • Avoid connecting outputs directly to power supplies without appropriate current-limiting resistors.
    • Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
  6. Testing:

    • Apply known logic levels to the inputs and verify the output using a multimeter or logic analyzer.
