BY396 is a high-speed, high-voltage, ultra-fast recovery rectifier diode with a DO-201 package. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and a maximum average forward current of 3A. The diode has a maximum reverse recovery time of 4.0ns and a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.1V. The BY396 is used in high-voltage, high-speed switching applications such as power supplies, inverters, and motor control circuits.
